Ingredients of Dahi Bhalla
- You need 200 gm of split black gram.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Carrom seeds.
- You need 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
- It's 500 gm of fresh yoghurt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes.
- You need 1-2 tsp of chat masala.
- It's 2-4 of green chillies.
- Prepare 100 gm of tamarind.
- You need 50 gm of jaggery.
- It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 500 gm of refind oil.
Dahi Bhalla instructions
- Soak split black gram for 4-6 hours than strain and grind it smoothly!.
- Add salt, baking soda, carrom seeds and green chillies in it and let it rest for 5 minutes !.
- Take a wok and pour refind oil in it..When tha oil is hot enough for frying take grinded dal in a big spoon and fry them light golden on slow flame....
- When all bhallas are ready make tamarind chutney! Soak tamarind in a bowl in half glass of water after 5 minutes make a pulp.
- Put half glass of water and jaggery in a pan and cook it for 5 minutes..When a boil comes than add tamarind pulp, salt, chilli powder and cook it for 2 minutes again and put the flame off, chutney is ready !!.
- Soak bhalla in cold water and one by one squeeze them and mix in the yoghurt.
- Finally for serving take small plate and put 2-3 bhalla in it pour some more yoghurt, chilli flakes, salt, chat masala and tamarind chutney! Dahi bhalla is ready to eat.
