Ingredients of Dahi Bhalla

  1. You need 200 gm of split black gram.
  2. It's 1/2 tsp of Carrom seeds.
  3. You need 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
  4. It's 500 gm of fresh yoghurt.
  5. You need 1/2 tsp of salt.
  6. It's 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes.
  7. You need 1-2 tsp of chat masala.
  8. It's 2-4 of green chillies.
  9. Prepare 100 gm of tamarind.
  10. You need 50 gm of jaggery.
  11. It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  13. You need 500 gm of refind oil.

Dahi Bhalla instructions

  1. Soak split black gram for 4-6 hours than strain and grind it smoothly!.
  2. Add salt, baking soda, carrom seeds and green chillies in it and let it rest for 5 minutes !.
  3. Take a wok and pour refind oil in it..When tha oil is hot enough for frying take grinded dal in a big spoon and fry them light golden on slow flame....
  4. When all bhallas are ready make tamarind chutney! Soak tamarind in a bowl in half glass of water after 5 minutes make a pulp.
  5. Put half glass of water and jaggery in a pan and cook it for 5 minutes..When a boil comes than add tamarind pulp, salt, chilli powder and cook it for 2 minutes again and put the flame off, chutney is ready !!.
  6. Soak bhalla in cold water and one by one squeeze them and mix in the yoghurt.
  7. Finally for serving take small plate and put 2-3 bhalla in it pour some more yoghurt, chilli flakes, salt, chat masala and tamarind chutney! Dahi bhalla is ready to eat.
