  2. Prepare 2 Cup of Curd.
  3. Prepare 1/4 Tsp of Red chilli powder.
  4. Prepare 3 Tsp of Sugar.
  5. Prepare 1/4 Tsp of Chat masala.
  6. You need 1/2 tsp of Coriander powder.
  7. It's 1 tsp of Cumin powder.
  8. You need 2 tsp of Tamarind chutney.
  9. You need To taste of Salt.
  10. It's As needed of Oil for frying.

  1. Soak urad dal for around 3 hours. Clean it well. Then, grind it to a fine paste without adding water..
  2. Take this paste in a bowl and beat it in a single direction with your hand so as to aerate the batter. Do this for around 10-15 min until the batter turns fluffly and soft..
  3. Now add salt as per taste and mix well. Take a small amount of batter on wet hands and give it the shape of a vada. Deep fry the vadas in hot oil on medium flame until they turn golden brown..
  4. Now take out the vadas and place them in a bowl of lukewarm water for 10 minutes..
  5. Take curd in a bowl, add red chilli powder, chat masala, sugar and salt and beat it well..
  6. Now take the vadas and squeeze it with your palms to remove excess water..
  7. Take the vadas in a bowl or a plate, pour the prepared curd and tamarind chutney on it and sprinkle some red chilli powder, salt, cumin powder and coriander powder..
  8. Delicious Dahi Vada is ready!!.
