  1. It's 250 g of dry dates.
  2. You need 500 ml - 1ltr of milk.
  3. It's 2 tbsp of or more ghee.
  4. Prepare Handful of cashews, almonds and dry fruits of choice.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
  6. It's 2 tbsp of jaggery / honey / sugar / sweetener of choice (optional).

  1. Remove the seeds from the dry dates and grind it to a coarse powder in a blender..
  2. Soak the ground dates in milk for 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator..
  3. Take the soaked dates and separate it from remaining milk. Keep the separated milk aside..
  4. In the same pan, add ghee. Add in the cashews, almonds etc. Heat it until golden brown. Then keep aside..
  5. In a hot pan, add ghee. Put in the soaked ground dates and stir it until golden brown. Add more ghee if desired..
  6. Add the remaining milk. Keep stirring until the milk almost but not completely evaporates..
  7. Add in jaggery / honey / sugar if desired more sweetness. This step is totally optional as the dates are already naturally sweet..
  8. Add cardamom powder and stir..
  9. Mix in the dry fruits. Ready to serve hot..
