- You need 1/2 cup of urad dal.
- You need 300 gm of curd.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of hing/asafoetida.
- Prepare 1 inch of Ginger crui.
- It's 1 of green chilli.
- You need 1 tsp of chat masala.
- Prepare to taste of salt.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin powder.
- It's 1 tsp of coriander powder.

- You need 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.

- It's pinch of carom seeds/ajwain.
- Prepare as needed of Tamarind & green chutney.

Dahi Vada Recipe: 'melt in your mouth' dahi vada / dahi bhalla recipe (fried Indian lentil dumplings), that's served with Dahi Vada Recipe is also known as Dahi Bhalla, Dahi Bada or Dahi Bhalla Chaat. Dahi vade instructions
- Soak the urad dal overnight. Now strain the water and put it in a mixing pot. Now add a piece of ginger, green chilli & blend it into a smooth paste. (The consistency shud b lik colgate).
- Now add half a tsp of hing, sum ajwain, salt, hing, half tsp baking soda and whisk it for about 8 to 10 mins so that it turns light & fluffy..
- Rest it for about 10 mins so that it doubles the size. In the min time, pour the curd in s big bowl, add 100 ml of water into it and give it a mix. Now add 1 tsp of roasted corriender and cumin powder and red chilli powder, powdered sugar, rock salt + plain salt, chaat masala as per taste and mix it and keep it in a refrigerator..
- Now heat oil in a pan. Again whisk the dal mixture for about 5 mins. And pour the lime size vadas into it and fry them till golden brown. Till the time the vadas fries, make a big bowl full of lukewarm water and put all the fried vadas into it and soak them in the water for about 10 mins..
- After 10 mins, press the vadas gently so that the extra water gets removed frm the vadas and put it in the curd solution for an hour or two & serve it cold with tamarind and pudina chutney..😋😋.
