Paneer Tikka instructions

  1. Whisk the yogurt in a large bowl until smooth..
  2. Add to the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste and mustard oil and mix well..
  3. Add coriander powder, chaat masala, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, kasuri methi and salt. Whisk to combine everything together..
  4. Add in juice of one lemon and mix well..
  5. Add the green bell peppers and mix well..
  6. Add the onions and mix well..
  7. Finally, add the paneer cubes. Mix until all the paneer cubes and veggies are well coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for minimum one hour or up to 4 hours. Overnight would be best..
  8. After 1-2 hours, take the marinated paneer and veggies out of the refrigerator. Take a skewer and arrange green bell pepper, paneer and onion on a skewer, alternatively. Make all skewers similarly. Heat a grill pan with oil. When the oil becomes hot, arrange the prepared skewers on the hot oil and cook on both sides until paneer cubes look little charred..
