- You need 1/2 cup of Yogurt.
- It's 1 tsp of Ginger Paste.
- It's 1 tsp of Garlic Paste.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Mustard Oil.
- You need 2 tsp of Coriander Powder.
- It's 1 tsp of Chaat Masala.
- You need 2 tsp of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
- Prepare 3/4 tsp of Garam Masala.
- You need 3/4 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
- You need 1 1/2 tsp of Kasuri Methi.
- Prepare As per taste of Salt (As required).
- You need 1 of Juice of Lemon.
- Prepare 250 gms of Paneer.
- It's 1 of Large Onion.
- Prepare 1 of Large Green Bell Pepper.
Paneer Tikka instructions
- Whisk the yogurt in a large bowl until smooth..
- Add to the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste and mustard oil and mix well..
- Add coriander powder, chaat masala, kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, kasuri methi and salt. Whisk to combine everything together..
- Add in juice of one lemon and mix well..
- Add the green bell peppers and mix well..
- Add the onions and mix well..
- Finally, add the paneer cubes. Mix until all the paneer cubes and veggies are well coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for minimum one hour or up to 4 hours. Overnight would be best..
- After 1-2 hours, take the marinated paneer and veggies out of the refrigerator. Take a skewer and arrange green bell pepper, paneer and onion on a skewer, alternatively. Make all skewers similarly. Heat a grill pan with oil. When the oil becomes hot, arrange the prepared skewers on the hot oil and cook on both sides until paneer cubes look little charred..
