  2. It's 1/2 cup of moving dal.
  3. Prepare 1 of green chilli.

Steamed Dahi Vada step by step

  1. Wash & soak both Dal overnight. Remove water & grind both Dal till smooth paste. Remove in pan & beat for about five minutes till light.
  2. Add ginger paste, salt, baking soda & chopped green chilli. Mix. Take small bowls & put 1-2 tbsp of batter in each bowl..
  3. Steam the filled bowl. About 10-15 mnts. Heat pot filled with water. Keep stainer on pot.on stainer keep batter filled bowl.cover cook till done..
  4. To make sweet chutney. Soak tamarind. Make pulp of it.take pot & put tamarind & jaggery heat the pan and make smooth paste..
  5. In one plate arrange the vada.pour dahi on vada.cover vada with dahi.put sweet chutney red chilli powder chat masala powder. Dahi Vada are ready serve cold..
