- It's 1 cup of moong dal paste.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of chilke wali moong dal paste.
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger green chillies paste.
- You need 1/4 tsp of heeng.
- You need 1 tbsp of oil for greasing the pan.
- Prepare 2 cups of curd.
- It's 1 tbsp of sugar.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of kala namak.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1 tsp of jeera powder.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 2 tbsp of finely chopped coriander.
Non Fried Dahi Badas step by step
- In a mixing bowl combine together moong dal paste, chilke wali moong dal paste, ginger green chillies paste and heeng, mix well.
- Heat appe pan on low heat, grease the moulds of the pan with little oil.
- Now put the batter in each mould, with a spoon, cook on low heat, by turning them at regular intervals, until becomes light brown from all the sides.
- Soak the ready badas in warm water along with some salt for 15 minutes, then squeeze out the extra water from them and keep them aside.
- Then blend the curd with salt and sugar, then put the badas in the curd. Take out the badas and arrange them in a serving plate, garnish with red chilli powder, jeera powder and chopped coriander, pour some extra curd in the bowl.
