  1. It's 1 cup of moong dal paste.
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of chilke wali moong dal paste.
  3. You need 1 tbsp of ginger green chillies paste.
  4. You need 1/4 tsp of heeng.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of oil for greasing the pan.
  6. Prepare 2 cups of curd.
  7. It's 1 tbsp of sugar.
  8. Prepare 1/4 tsp of kala namak.
  9. You need to taste of Salt.
  10. Prepare 1 tsp of jeera powder.
  11. You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  12. You need 2 tbsp of finely chopped coriander.

Non Fried Dahi Badas step by step

  1. In a mixing bowl combine together moong dal paste, chilke wali moong dal paste, ginger green chillies paste and heeng, mix well.
  2. Heat appe pan on low heat, grease the moulds of the pan with little oil.
  3. Now put the batter in each mould, with a spoon, cook on low heat, by turning them at regular intervals, until becomes light brown from all the sides.
  4. Soak the ready badas in warm water along with some salt for 15 minutes, then squeeze out the extra water from them and keep them aside.
  5. Then blend the curd with salt and sugar, then put the badas in the curd. Take out the badas and arrange them in a serving plate, garnish with red chilli powder, jeera powder and chopped coriander, pour some extra curd in the bowl.
