- Prepare 1 kg of potatoes.
- It's 1 cup of sooji.
- You need 3 of eggs.
- Prepare as needed of Coriander leaves.
- Prepare 6-7 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1 spoon of rai (Mustard seed).
- Prepare as needed of Oil for frying.
- It's to taste of Salt and red chilli powder.
This pattice is so quick to make and really yummy to eat. Traditionally this is deep fried, but I pan fried it with a little bit of oil to make it even more healthy. There are many variations of making aloo tikki. Some makes with only potatoes and spices which I make for ragda pattice.
Aaloo pattice step by step
- Boil potatoes in pressure cooker and peel off well.
- Take green chillies and mash it properly so that it can be easily mix in potatoes stuffing.. take a pan, heat little oil and add mustard (raai) in it..add that in stuffing and mix it well..
- Add coriander, green chilli paste, little phudina and salt and little red chilli powder as per our taste and mix it well in potatoes.
- Take sooji and keep aside..take small amount of stuffing and give it a shape as round.
- Take 3 no of eggs and beat it well with salt and red chilli powder as per our taste.
- Heat oil in pan. Take aaloo Patti and dip it in egg and deep fry it till it golden brown.taddaaa!!! It's ready.... Serve it with lemon or tomato sauce..!!!.
