- Prepare 1 cup of Grated carrot.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Cottage cheese (paneer).
- It's 1/4 cup of Milk powder.
- Prepare to taste of Brown sugar.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of Desi ghee/butter (I have used ghee).
- You need 1 cup of Milk.
- It's 1/4 cup of Soaked sago.
- You need 2 tbsp of dessicated coconut for making ladoos.
- You need 2 tbsp of dessicated coconut for coating the ladoos.
Ladoo is my all time favourite dessert. In fact, my family also loves sweets a lot. I wanted to give a try for a variety ladoo using carrot and it worked out. This is a yummy and variety dessert that is easy to make.
Carrot and sago Ladoos step by step
- Take a pan, heat ghee then add the grated carrot and saute till the raw smell of carrot leaves and it becomes soft, then add milk and mix it well till the milk gets absorbed by the carrot..
- Then add cottage cheese, milk powder and mix well then add sugar, Soaked sago and mix till the carrot mixture don't stick to the edges and comes to the center of the pan..
- Then add cardamom powder and dessicated coconut and mix it well and make ladoos..
- Then coat the ladoos with dessicated coconut..
- It is ready to serve..
