Ingredients of Ragda Pattice
- You need 4 of boiled and mashed potatoes.
- Prepare 1 cup of white matar (white peas).
- You need 1 tsp +1/2 tsp of sukha dhaniya powder (dry coriander powder).
- You need 1 tsp+1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 tsp of bhuna jeera powder (roasted cumin powder).
- Prepare 1 tsp+1/2 tsp of garam masala powder (whole spice powder).
- You need 1/2 tsp of chaat masala.
- It's 1/4 th tsp of amchur powder.
- It's 1 tsp+1/2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 5 tsp of oil for shallow frying.
- You need 2 tsp of oil for cooking.
- You need 4 tsp of fresh coriander chopped.
- Prepare 1 big size of onion chopped.
- It's 1/2 cup of pomegranate seeds.
- It's 1/2 cup of Zero no.Sev.
- It's 1 tsp +1/2 tsp of salt.
- You need 1/4 th tsp of hing / asafoetida.
- It's 1 tsp of jeera /cumin.
- It's 1.5 glass of normal water.
- You need 4 tsp of soaked poha.
- Prepare 4-5 tsp of tamarind chutney.
- Prepare 1 tsp of kasoori methi.
Ragda Pattice step by step
- In a cooker,heat oil.add heeng,jeera,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1tsp (each)sukha dhaniya,red chilli and salt.saute fr 4-5 seconds..
- Add 1.5 glass of water.
- Add matar and cook it for 45 mins on sim.
- Add garam masala and fresh coriander after it is cooked.Mix well and keep aside.
- Mashed potatoes and mix all spices to it with soaked poha..
- Make balls and shallow fry.
- For serving in a bowl,put potato pattice first,pour prepared ragda on top of it..
- Now put some tamarind chutney,chopped onion,coriander,pomegranate seeds,sprinkle some chaat masala and zero no.sev.
- Serve hot!.
