- Heat pan or kadai and roast the sevai/ vermicelli for 3 to 4 mins until slightly golden. Transfer it to a plate and keep aside..
- Now heat 1 tbsp oil in the same kadhai add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, after spluttering add curry leaves and sauté. Now add chopped onion and sauté till it turns translucent..
- Add chopped green chilli and green peas and sauté for 3 to 4 mins. Now add turmeric powder salt and mix well..
- Now add roasted sevai and little water. Cover the kadai with the lid and let it cook further for some mins on a medium flame..
- Once the sevai becomes soft add lemon juice mix gently and off the gas burner. Garnish with fried or roasted cashews and peanuts..
