  6. Prepare 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  7. Prepare 3 of green chillies chopped.
  8. You need 4-5 of curry leaves chopped.

  13. Prepare 2 tablespoons of Green peas.

Lemon Vermicelli Upma step by step

  1. Roast vermicelli in ghee until golden brown in colour..
  2. Add boiling water mix. Cover and set aside for few minutes.
  3. In a kadhai pan heat oil.
  4. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, udad dal and saute. Add green chillies and carrot..
  5. Add green peas and saute well, until they become soft.
  6. Add hing, sugar, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt.
  7. Add juice of 2 lime and saute.
  8. Switch off flame. Cover the kadhai for few minutes..
  9. Remove excess water by straining the vermicelli..
  10. Add to the lemon mixture and toss well to mix without breaking the vermicelli.
  11. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
