  1. Pressure cook ripe guava to one whistle..
  2. Grind in mixer and the sieve the guava paste..
  3. Take equal quantities of guava pulp and sugar..
  4. In a non stick pan take guava pulp, sugar, colour, lemon juice and butter..
  5. Mix well..
  6. Cook on medium flame till the mixer starts leaving the sides of the pan..
  7. Add remaining butter to have extra shine..
  8. Pour in a greased pan, level with a spoon and let it set overnight..
  9. Cut into cubes or any shape u want..
