Ingredients of Whosayna’s Pistachio Sooji Halwa

  1. You need 2 cups of Sooji (coarse).
  2. Prepare 1 cup of Sugar (to your taste).
  3. You need 1/2 cup of Evaporated milk (tin milk).
  4. You need 2-3 cups of Fresh milk.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of Ghee.
  6. It's 2 tbsp of Khhoya (grated).
  7. You need 2 tbsp of Cashew nuts (chopped).
  8. You need 1 tbsp of Almonds (chopped).
  9. You need 3 tbsp of Pistachio (chopped).
  10. Prepare strands of Few Saffron.
  11. It's 1 tsp of Elaichi powder.
  12. Prepare 1/2 cup of Milk powder.
  13. It's of Green colour (pinch).

Whosayna’s Pistachio Sooji Halwa instructions

  1. In a broad pot or pan put ghee and keep on flame.
  2. Add sooji then roast on low or medium flame till pinkish/creamish colour or nice aroma arises.
  3. Add milk powder and khoya and braise little.
  4. On the other hand mix both milk and keep on boil.
  5. When sooji is roasted keep medium flame and add hot milk, saffron, colour and cardamon powder, mix well.
  6. Cook while stirring it at intervals, just before milk dries add few nuts and lower the flame (simmer), can add a tablespoon of ghee.
  7. If it's dry can add milk and simmer till done.
  8. When serving garnish with nuts.
