White mutton biryani step by step
- Marinate mutton with ginger garlic green chilli coriander mint leaves yogurt cumin powder pepper powder and salt ad kewra essence then mix well marinate for 1 hour.
- Boil sufficient water add clove cardamom cinnamon pepper bay leaf star anise cumin seeds salt 1 tsp oil lemon juice chopped green chilli chopped coriander leaves let the water boil well.
- Add 30 minutes soaked basmati rice boil until 95 percent done (completely cooked and hard-boiled) then strain water set rice aside.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker add clove cardamom cinnamon peppercorn star anise bay leaf then add sliced onions fry till translucent do not brown then add mutton mix well add water close cooker pressure cook till mutton is tender.
- Add desi ghee in a vessel at bottom add little boiled rice then add cooked mutton garnish with green chilli chopped coriander mint then again add boiled rice again garnish green chilli coriander mint leaves little desi ghee food colour sprinkle little water..
- Close lid cook on high heat 2 to 3 minutes then simmer 8 to 10 minutes till fumes start coming out biryani is ready.
