Chicken Masala step by step
- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon ginger paste and garlic paste, and keep it at least for 1 hour..
- Heat some oil in the wok and add the cardamom, cloves and saute it for a while..
- Add the chopped onion and 1 pinch of salt. Fry them till golden brown. Add the rest of the ginger paste, and the coriander powder. Fry them well..
- Add the chicken pieces and fry them in a high flame..
- Add the tomato ketchup and mix them well..
- Add the rest of the marinated mix that was left while adding the chicken pieces..
- Mix them well and then add some water..
- Cover it for 20mins in a low flame..
