- It's 1/2 cup of Poha (flattened rice) (wash and soak it).

- In the same grinding jar add soaked Poha. Add ginger, green chillies, 1 tbsp water. Grind it..

- Add cheese mix it the batter. Heat up the appam maker on low flame. Grease it with oil. Pour 1 spoon batter in the appam mould. Close the lid and get it cooked for 2 min..
- After 2 min will see one side is done. Apply some oil and flip them to another side. Close the lid for 2 more min. Appam is done. Serve with dip and juice..
