Ingredients of Rose Phirni
- Prepare 1100 ml of Milk.
- Prepare 4-5 of Saffron Stands.
- You need 100 g of Rice flour.
- It's 1/2 cup of Sugar.
- You need 2-3 tbsp of Rose Syrup.
- It's 1 of Rose, for garnish.
- Prepare 3-4 of Pistachios, for garnish (chopped).
Rose Phirni step by step
- Heat a saucepan and add in 1 liter milk..
- To this add kesar strands..
- Let the milk simmer on low flame and reduce to 3/4th it's quantity..
- Meanwhile take the rice flour and soak it with 100 ml milk. Give it a nice mix..
- Once the milk reduces, add the rice flour mix to the milk and stir continuously..
- The mixture will start getting thick as the rice flour starts getting cooked..
- Once cooked, add in sugar and mix well..
- Now add in the rose syrup and cook for another 5-6 minutes..
- Turn off the flame..
- Set the phirni in small bowls and drizzle with rose syrup..
- Garnish with pistachios and rose petals..
