- Heat ghee in pan add toast the slivered nuts and raisins until slightly golden.Boil milk with saffron strands until the the milk thickens and reduces to half and turns a mellow yellow.Take it off the stove.
- Cook rice until 3/4 th done and drain and and dont forget to add the rose water or screwpine(kewra) essence to the water in which the rice is cooked..
- Heat the remaining ghee in a wide pan add the cloves and cardamom and when they emit a nice aroma add the milk and sugar followed by the rice mix well..
- Add the nuts raisins and cardamoms cook until rice is well done garnish with remaining nuts cool and serve.
