Ingredients of Guava Cheese
- Prepare 3 of ripened guavas (pressure cooked for 2 whistles).
- You need 1 cup of sugar.
- It's 3-4 tbsp of butter.
- Prepare as required of Pistachio flakes for garnish.
Guava Cheese instructions
- Add 3 ripened guavas (pressure cooked for 2 whistles) into a mixer jar & blend it in a fine paste without adding any water..
- Add the blended guava to a strainer & strain to get smooth pulp..
- Heat up a pan. Add the strained guava pulp, 1 cup sugar and let the sugar melt on a low flame..
- Add 3-4 tbsp butter to it & let it melt. Keep mixing continuously till the mixture cooks well..
- Take a mould greased with butter. Pour in the cooked mixture when it is still hot & spread evenly..
- Let is cool & set completely. Remove from mould & cut in desired shape. Garnish with pistachio flakes & serve..
