- Heat 3 tablespoon of mustard oil and shallow fry the fish pieces to golden brown..

- Heat 1 tablespoon of mustard oil and stir fry the vindi in high heat for about 3-4 minutes..
- Transfer to a plate and in the same pan temper 1/2 reason of fenugreek seeds in 2 tablespoon of oil..
- Add in 1 chopped onion, when onion changes colour, add in 3 cloves of crushed garlic..
- When onion and garlic becomes golden brown, add in dry spices like chilli powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder and cumin powder. Also add in salt..
- Add in little water and stir well. Cook the masala for 3-4 minutes..
- Next add in the fried vindi, mix lightly to coat the masala. Cover and cook in low heat until the vindi become soft..
- Next add in some cherry tomatoes and cook for further 3-4 minutes..
- Also add in the fried fish pieces, mix lightly..
- Pour 2 cups of hot water, cook for about 5 more minutes in medium heat. The curry is ready now..
- Remove from heat and serve with hot steam rice..
