- You need 500 grams of thick and fresh yoghurt.
- Prepare 1 cup of powdered sugar.
- You need 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of chopped pistachios.
- You need 8-10 of saffron strands.
- You need 2 tbsp of warm milk.
- Prepare 1 tsp of chopped pistachios for garnishing.
- You need 1 tsp of chopped almonds for garnishing.
- You need of Few saffron strands for garnishing.
Kesar Pista Shrikhand instructions
- Firstly, tie yoghurt in a clean muslin or cheese cloth..
- Hang the yoghurt over a kitchen wash basin for 6-8 hours..
- After 8 hours, untie cloth..
- You can see that yoghurt become thick and creamy..
- Dissolve the kesar strands in warm milk and keep it aside..
- Now in a big mixing bowl, add yoghurt, sugar and saffron milk..
- Mix it well till sugar gets dissolved completely in yoghurt..
- Now add cardamom powder and chopped pistachios, give it a mix and keep it in the refrigerator for atleast 1-2 hours..
- Garnish with pistachios, almonds and saffron strands..
- Serve chilled.
