- It's 1 cup of boiled rice.
- Prepare 2 litre of milk.
- Prepare 5-6 of Cardamom(elaichi).

- You need 10-12 of Raisins.
- You need 8-10 of Almonds.
- You need 6-10 of Pistachio.

I used to make a version with honey for my daughter but. Kheer is an Indian version of rice pudding cooked with milk and sugar, flavored with nuts and saffron. - It's good to make kheer in a earthen pot...you can use normal pot too..
- Boil milk and bring to half. Add cardamom (elaichi) for flavour..
- Add in saffron and pinch of turmeric (do not add too much as it can become bitter...).
- Add dry fruits. (leave some for garnish).
- Add boiled rice and cook till the milk reduces to 1/4th of original quantity. Keep stirring to avoid milk sticking to the pan..
- In the end add sugar substitute (I used sugar free natura powder 7-8 scoops) you can use sugar also..
- Garnish with remaining dry fruits. You can serve hot or chilled.
