Ingredients of Pistachio Bread

  1. It's 1 Tsp of Active Dry Yeast.
  2. You need 1 Tsp of Sugar.
  3. You need 1/4 Cup of Water Milk Warm /.

  7. Prepare 3 cups of Flour Maida Refined / + more for dusting.

Pistachio Bread instructions

  1. Pre heat an oven to 180-190 Degree C..
  2. For the Dough..
  3. Combine Yeast with warm milk and 2 tsp sugar. Cover it and let it stand for about 5-7 min till froth does not appear on the top and the yeast is not dissolved..
  4. Add the flour, milk, saltĀ and melted butter..
  5. Knead it well for sometime till the dough comes together. You might consider moving to a flat surface to knead the dough as it requires good effort and dusting with flour. Dust the dough lightly each time. Do not add too much at one time..
  6. Apply little oil on the dough that is now combined and keep it in bowl. Cover the bowl with kitchen towel..
  7. Place the bowl in a warm place for about 30 min to an hour, until the dough is doubled..
  8. For the Filling:.
  9. Keep the butter, sugar and Pistachios together [seperately..
  10. To assemble:.
  11. Roll out a 1/2 inch tick rectangle out of the dough..
  12. Brush the melted butter on the top facing you..
  13. Sprinkle the powdered sugar and pistachios as evenly as possible..
  14. Start rolling it in a pinwheel starting from the length of the rectangle..
  15. Once you touch the end of the roll, pinch the seam in the pinwheel..
  16. Add a little flour on it roll it once or twice so that the seam is perfectly sealed..
  17. Now join the two ends to form a ring..
  18. Move the ring to the oiled/buttered baking tray..
  19. Make slits upto 2/3 of the ring width to make bite size pieces..

  21. Put the tray in the middle section of the oven and let it cook for about 30-35 min..
