Ingredients of Coconut Ladoo
- It's 2 cups of desiccated coconut.
- Prepare 1.5 cups of milk.
- Prepare 3/4 cup of sugar or to taste.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of cashew chopped.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.
- It's 4 tbsp of desiccated coconut for rolling.
Coconut Ladoo step by step
- In a large kadai, add 2 cups coconut and 1 1/2 cups milk.
- Mix well making sure the coconut gets wet completely..
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Mix continuously over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is watery.
- Keep stirring over low heat until water evaporates and mixture is crumbly, should take around 20 minutes.
- Cool the mixture for 10 minutes. Add cashews and cardamom. Mix well. Cool for another 5 minutes.
- Shape the mixture into ladoos. Roll over 4 tbsp desiccated coconut.
- Store in air tight container, serve as required. The Ladoos will remain fresh for 1 week.
