Ingredients of Coconut Ladoo

  1. It's 2 cups of desiccated coconut.
  2. Prepare 1.5 cups of milk.
  3. Prepare 3/4 cup of sugar or to taste.
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp of cashew chopped.
  5. Prepare 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.
  6. It's 4 tbsp of desiccated coconut for rolling.

Coconut Ladoo step by step

  1. In a large kadai, add 2 cups coconut and 1 1/2 cups milk.
  2. Mix well making sure the coconut gets wet completely..
  3. Add sugar and mix well.
  4. Mix continuously over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is watery.
  5. Keep stirring over low heat until water evaporates and mixture is crumbly, should take around 20 minutes.
  6. Cool the mixture for 10 minutes. Add cashews and cardamom. Mix well. Cool for another 5 minutes.
  7. Shape the mixture into ladoos. Roll over 4 tbsp desiccated coconut.
  8. Store in air tight container, serve as required. The Ladoos will remain fresh for 1 week.
