- It's of All purpose flour.
- You need Gram of cereal(chana daal).
- You need of Ghee.
- It's of Sugar.
- It's of Dry coconut.
- Prepare of Elaichi powder.
- Prepare of Water.
Puran Poli with desi Ghee step by step
- First cook the chana daal in pressure cooker for 5/6 whistle with less water..
- When daal cooked properly heat the pan take ghee in it..
- Add daal in heated pan & roast with ghee in low flame..
- Cooked daal till golden brown..
- Add dry coconut & sugar then again mix well..
- Add elaichi powder too..
- Above all ingredients mix well & cook till it become soft dough for stuffing..
- Now make soft dough through all purpose flour with water..
- Keep aside dough for 10 minutes..
- Take small ball in ur hand flatten it just like kachori or paratha for stuffing..
- Add puran stuff & make circle shape just like chappati..
- Use ghee for both sides in cooking in low flame..
- It takes more ghee but puran poli is a dish which gives you more taste if ghee is sufficient..
- Serve hot with ghee..
