  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of chana daal(overnight soaked).
  3. It's 1/2 cup of burada (narayal powder).
  4. Prepare 1 cup of sugar powder (bura).
  5. Prepare 1 teaspoon of elaichi powder,.
  6. It's 2 tablespoons of gehu ka atta(wheat flour).
  7. You need as required of ghee.

  1. Make a paste of the soaked rice in the mixer.
  2. Add some ghee on a pan in medium flame and add this rice paste on this pan and cook it for approx. 5 minutes.
  3. Add gehu ka atta (2 tablespoons) on the cooking paste and make a dough out of it..
  4. Now we will make the stuffing, boil chane ki daal for approx 10 minutes and make it's paste in a mixer..
  5. Add sugar powder, narayal powder, elaichi powder in it and make a mixture..
  6. Take the dough already prepared in fist 3 steps,while giving it a shape of modak fill it with the stuffings prepared in the 4th and 5th steps..
  7. Now finally steam the stuffed modak for 15 to 20 minutes. Your special modak in now ready to eat. ENJOY!.
