- You need 1 cup of rice (overnight soaked).
- Prepare 1/2 cup of chana daal(overnight soaked).
- It's 1/2 cup of burada (narayal powder).
- Prepare 1 cup of sugar powder (bura).
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of elaichi powder,.
- It's 2 tablespoons of gehu ka atta(wheat flour).
- You need as required of ghee.

- Make a paste of the soaked rice in the mixer.
- Add some ghee on a pan in medium flame and add this rice paste on this pan and cook it for approx. 5 minutes.
- Add gehu ka atta (2 tablespoons) on the cooking paste and make a dough out of it..
- Now we will make the stuffing, boil chane ki daal for approx 10 minutes and make it's paste in a mixer..
- Add sugar powder, narayal powder, elaichi powder in it and make a mixture..
- Take the dough already prepared in fist 3 steps,while giving it a shape of modak fill it with the stuffings prepared in the 4th and 5th steps..
