  1. It's 150 grams of paneer.
  2. It's 1 of medium onion chopped.
  3. It's 2 of medium tomatoes chopped.
  4. You need 6 of almonds.
  5. It's 6 of cashews.
  6. You need 3 tbsp of oil or ghee.
  7. It's 1 of bayleaf.
  8. It's 2 of green cardamoms.
  9. Prepare 2 tsp of kasuri methi.
  10. It's 1/2 tsp of kashmiri red chilli powder.

  12. You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.

  17. You need 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste.

Shahi paneer step by step

  1. Cut paneer into cubes and keep aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil or ghee in a pan. add chopped onion, tomatoes, bayleaf, cardamoms and sugar..
  3. Saute them on medium flame for a minute..
  4. Add 1/4 cup water and bring the water to boil..
  5. To this add almonds, cashews and kashmiri red chilli powder and cook for 2-3 minutes..
  6. Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool down to room tempreture..
  7. Remove the bayleaf and grind the mixture to a smooth paste..
  8. Heat 2 tbsp oil or ghee in a pan..
  9. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell disappears..
  10. Next add the prepared paste and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame..
  11. Add kasuri methi, salt, garam masala, kitchen king masala, cream, yogurt and stir well..
  12. Add water as required and simmer the gravy for 4-5 minutes..
  13. Next add the paneer and let the gravy simmer for another 2-3 minutes..
  14. Serve with roti, paratha, naan or any indian flat breads..
