- Peel and roughly chop the sweet potatoes.
- Steam/ pressure cook them until soft.
- Meanwhile, chop or grind the palm sugar and spread the scrapped won a plate.

- Season with salt and add the rice flour.
- Mix and knead for a minute.
- Scoop portions of the potato mix and add a teaspoon of palm sugar to it.

- Add the potato balls in batches to the water and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from water and immediately coat them with scrapped coconut.
