Ingredients of Malai Kofta
- You need 100 gram of grated paneer.
- Prepare 2 of boiled & peeled potatoes.
- You need 2 tbsp of cornflour.
- It's 2 tbsp of milk powder.
- You need 2 of grated onions.
- Prepare 2 of grated tomatoes.
- It's 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of cream.
- You need 1 tbsp of cashew paste.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- Prepare 1 stick of cinnamon.
- Prepare 2 of green cardamom.
- You need 2 of cloves.
- Prepare to taste of salt.
- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder1.
- It's 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of garam masala.
- It's 2 cup of water.
- It's of oil for deep frying.
- It's 1 tsp of kasuri methi.
- Prepare of few coriander leaves for garnish.
Malai Kofta step by step
- Take a bowl,add grated paneer,mashed potatoes,salt, cornflour&milk powder..
- Mix them well..
- Make small balls from it.
- Take a karahi,pour oil in it & deep fry the balls until they become golden..
- Take them out on the tissue paper to absorb the excess oil..
- Take another karahi,put 2 tbsp of oil with bay leaf,green cardamom, cinnamon stick & cloves,Cook till the oil becomes fragnant..
- First add grated onions & ginger garlic paste..
- Cook till till the raw aroma paste goes away. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala, salt & red chilli powder.Saute for few seconds..
- Add tomatoe puree & cook till oil spreads from corners & add cashew paste in it& cook for few seconds..
- Put 2 cup of water in it & cook for 10 minutes on low flame..
- Now add kasuri methi,Before serving add koftas in it..
- Take it in a serving bowl,garnish with cream & coriander leaves..
- Serve hot with chapatis or naan.
