Ingredients of Malai Kofta

  1. You need 100 gram of grated paneer.
  2. Prepare 2 of boiled & peeled potatoes.
  3. You need 2 tbsp of cornflour.
  4. It's 2 tbsp of milk powder.
  5. You need 2 of grated onions.
  6. Prepare 2 of grated tomatoes.
  7. It's 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of cream.
  9. You need 1 tbsp of cashew paste.
  10. Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
  11. Prepare 1 stick of cinnamon.
  12. Prepare 2 of green cardamom.
  13. You need 2 of cloves.
  14. Prepare to taste of salt.
  15. Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder1.
  16. It's 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  17. You need 1 tsp of garam masala.
  18. It's 2 cup of water.
  19. It's of oil for deep frying.
  20. It's 1 tsp of kasuri methi.
  21. Prepare of few coriander leaves for garnish.

Malai Kofta step by step

  1. Take a bowl,add grated paneer,mashed potatoes,salt, cornflour&milk powder..
  2. Mix them well..
  3. Make small balls from it.
  4. Take a karahi,pour oil in it & deep fry the balls until they become golden..
  5. Take them out on the tissue paper to absorb the excess oil..
  6. Take another karahi,put 2 tbsp of oil with bay leaf,green cardamom, cinnamon stick & cloves,Cook till the oil becomes fragnant..
  7. First add grated onions & ginger garlic paste..
  8. Cook till till the raw aroma paste goes away. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala, salt & red chilli powder.Saute for few seconds..
  9. Add tomatoe puree & cook till oil spreads from corners & add cashew paste in it& cook for few seconds..
  10. Put 2 cup of water in it & cook for 10 minutes on low flame..
  11. Now add kasuri methi,Before serving add koftas in it..
  12. Take it in a serving bowl,garnish with cream & coriander leaves..
  13. Serve hot with chapatis or naan.
