Ingredients of Colourful Patisapta

  1. Prepare 1 cup of Rice flour.
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of all purpose flour.
  3. It's 1/4th cup of semolina.
  4. You need 4 tap of sugar.
  5. Prepare 3 cup of warm water.
  6. You need 1 pinch of salt.
  7. You need 1 of grated coconut.
  8. Prepare 1/2 cup of mawa.
  9. You need 1 cup of liquid Date palm jaggery(famous as Nolen gur).
  10. You need 3tsp of cashew nut dust.
  11. You need 2tsp of Ghee.

Colourful Patisapta instructions

  1. Heat ghee, add grated coconut, mawa & date palm jaggery.Cook it for 10 to 15 mins..
  2. Add cashew dust & make a mixture of it..
  3. Now make a batter of rice flour, flour, semolina, sugar, salt & warm water.The consistency of the batter should not be too thick nor too thin..
  4. Make 3 colour of batter.One is white & the other 2 colour is green & red using food colour..
  5. Brush a pan with oil & first apply red or green colour & let it cook for 10 second..
  6. Then cover it with white batter & let it cook for another 30 second..
  7. When one side is cooked well put some coconut mixture on it & wrap it..
  8. Shallow fry the both side..
  9. Now it's ready.Depends on your choice any colour or design can be applied..
