- You need 750 ml of full fat milk.
- It's 1/2 cup of sugar adjust.

Paladda/ Ada Payasam step by step
- Heat milk in deep bottom vessel and bring to boil stirring occasionally.
- On boiling, add Ada and sugar.
- Mix well, reduce heat to low and cook stirring occasionally.
- Do stir occasionally and it takes around 40-45 minutes to cook.
- Cook until milk has reduced to half and has thickened. Paladda on cooking gets light rose hue.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well. Switch off.
- Heat ghee in small vessel and fry cashews until golden brown.
- Pour the fried cashews in payasam and mix well.
- Serve warm or cold as desired.
