  1. You need 1 cup of chickpea/ chole,soaked overnight.
  2. You need 4 tbsp of oil.

  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder.
  12. It's 1 tsp of kasuri methi.

  15. It's 2 cups of all-purpose flour/ maida.
  16. It's 1/4 cup of semolina.
  17. You need 1/2 tsp of baking soda.

Chole bhature instructions

  1. Take maida in deep bowl,add suji,salt,sugar, beking soda mix well,add curd and mix,now add water and start to knead to thick dough the consistency of the dough must be thick and not thin,add oil and knead the dough again until it becomes soft for 5_7 minutes more, grease dough with little oil, cover and keep aside for 3 hours..
  2. Heat oil in a pan,saute carom seeds,bay leaf and onion till they turn aromatic..
  3. Add tomato, chilli powder,turmeric powder,chole masala,coriander powder,salt,dry mango powder and saute a minute.
  4. Add boiled chickpea and mix well..
  5. Add hot water, kasuri methi and mix well,cook for 7-8 minutes on medium flame..
  6. Take the dough and knead it once more,make small balls of dough,roll bhature a little bigger that Puri with the help of rolling board and pin..
  7. Heat oil in a kadhai and drop the plain side of bhatura direct in oil let it puff up and flip over and cook both side till golden..
  8. Chole bhature is ready to serve..
