Ingredients of Seviyan Paysam or Sheer Khurma
- You need 1 litre of Milk.
- It's 200 gm of Seviyan.
- You need 1 cup of Sugar.
- You need 2-3 of Drops Kewra water.
- It's of Dry fruits as per taste.
Add little water, sugar, boiled milk. Sheer khurma is a delicious and rich Mughlai dessert made for ramadan. It is made with fine vermicelli, dates, milk, chiroli seeds and nuts. Vermicelli: To make sheer khurma fine vermicelli or thin seviyan is used.
Seviyan Paysam or Sheer Khurma instructions
- Crush roasted seviyan in a plate and add it in the boilng milk. Let it cook for 10 minutes.
- When seviyan cook properly add sugar and mix well. Let it cook for 10 more minutes at low flame..
- Now add dry fruits and mix well. Switch off the flame add kewda water and let it cool..
- Transfer it to the serving bowl, decorate with chopped dry fruits. Serve hot or cold as per your desire..
