Ingredients of Chole Bhature

  1. Prepare of For Bhatura:-.
  2. Prepare 2 cup of maida / all urose flour.
  3. It's 1/2 cup of suji / semolina.
  4. It's 1/2 cup of curd.
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp of salt.
  6. You need 1 tsp of sugar.
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp of oil.
  8. It's 1/4 tsp of baking powder.
  9. You need as needed of Oil for frying.

  11. You need 2 cup of chickpeas.
  12. You need 3-4 of medium size onion.
  13. You need 2 of green chilli.
  14. You need 2 of small tomato.
  15. It's 1/2 cup of curd.
  16. It's 8-10 of garlic cloves.
  17. Prepare 1 of " ginger piece.
  18. You need 1-1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  19. Prepare 2 tbsp of coriander powder.
  20. You need 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  21. Prepare 1 tbsp of chole masala.
  22. You need 1 pinch of ajwain / carom.
  23. You need 1 Pinch of hing / asafoetida.
  24. You need 1-2 of bay leaf.
  25. It's 1 of star anise.
  26. You need 4-5 of black pepper.
  27. It's 1 of cinnamon stick.
  28. Prepare 2-3 of clove.
  29. You need 1-2 of cordamom(black &green).
  30. Prepare 1 tbsp of tamarind pulp/Amchur powder.
  31. Prepare 1 tbsp of chopped coriander.
  32. It's 1/4 tsp of Kasuri methi.
  33. It's of 1 tea bag /1 tsp tea leaves.
  34. It's to taste of Salt.
  35. It's 4 tbsp of Oil.

Chole Bhature step by step

  1. For bhatura:- take a bowl put maida,suji, curd, salt,baking soda,baking powder and mix well now add sufficient water to make soft dough now apply oil to it and let it rest for 2 hours.
  2. Now knead dough and make small balls and roll it with rolling pin like a puri.
  3. Now heat oil in a kadai and fry bhaturas till light golden colour.
  4. Now crispy bhatura is ready.
  5. For chole :- soak chickpea with pinch of baking soda in sufficient water for 7-8hour.
  6. Now change the water of chickpea.
  7. Now put chickpeas in cooker with sufficient water and add tea bag,1clove,2- 3 garlic clove, 2-3black pepper,1cinnamon stick,1 cardamom and cover the lid and take 4-5 whistle. (If tea bag is not available then take muslin cloth and put tea and cover properly and put a knot to it.).
  8. Now open the cooker and remove tea bag.
  9. Take a jar put onions, green chilli,ginger,garlic and grind it.
  10. Now take a pan put oil heat it and add bay leaf, cumin seed, staranise, clove, cardamom, cinnamon stick, pinch of hing and ajwaIn and stir it Now add onion paste and saute it Now add finely chopped tomato and saute for few minutes.
  11. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder,red chilli powder, chole masala powder and mix well.
  12. Now add chole and salt and stir well.
  13. Now add tamarind pulp/Aamchur powder Add some water and cover the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame.
  14. Now add chopped coriander Chole is ready.
  15. Serve chole bhature with onions ring and lemon.
