Ingredients of Chole bhature

  1. Prepare 150 grams of cheakpeas.
  2. It's 2 tablespoon of jeera dhaniya powder.
  3. You need 1 teaspoon of red chilli Powder.
  4. You need 2 of onions chopped.
  5. It's 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste.
  6. It's 1 of bay leaf.
  7. You need 1 of dry red chilli.
  8. It's 1 teaspoon of whole jeera.
  9. You need 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  10. You need 2 cup of all purpose flour.
  11. Prepare 1/2 cup of hung curd.
  12. It's To taste of salt and sugar.
  13. It's As needed of oil for frying.

Chole bhature instructions

  1. Soak the cheakpeas for at least 5-6!hours before cooking.
  2. Pressure cook the cheakpeas along with onion garlic and salt.
  3. Make a soft dough with the flour and curd and keep aside.
  4. Now heat a pan and add the whole jeera bay leaf and whole dry red chilli.
  5. Saute the chopped onions and ginger garlic paste.
  6. Add salt and turmeric powder and saute till the raw smell disappears.
  7. Add jeera dhaniya powder and saute.
  8. Pour the boiled cheakpeas and mix properly.
  9. Remove it from oven and keep aside.
  10. Now take small portions of the dough and make small balls.
  11. Roll the balls with a rolling pin to a round shape.
  12. Deep fry the bhature and serve it with chole.
