Ingredients of Chole bhature
- Prepare 150 grams of cheakpeas.
- It's 2 tablespoon of jeera dhaniya powder.
- You need 1 teaspoon of red chilli Powder.
- You need 2 of onions chopped.
- It's 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 1 of bay leaf.
- You need 1 of dry red chilli.
- It's 1 teaspoon of whole jeera.
- You need 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- You need 2 cup of all purpose flour.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of hung curd.
- It's To taste of salt and sugar.
- It's As needed of oil for frying.
Chole bhature instructions
- Soak the cheakpeas for at least 5-6!hours before cooking.
- Pressure cook the cheakpeas along with onion garlic and salt.
- Make a soft dough with the flour and curd and keep aside.
- Now heat a pan and add the whole jeera bay leaf and whole dry red chilli.
- Saute the chopped onions and ginger garlic paste.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and saute till the raw smell disappears.
- Add jeera dhaniya powder and saute.
- Pour the boiled cheakpeas and mix properly.
- Remove it from oven and keep aside.
- Now take small portions of the dough and make small balls.
- Roll the balls with a rolling pin to a round shape.
- Deep fry the bhature and serve it with chole.
