Ingredients of Chole bhature
- Prepare 1/2 kg of Kaabli chana.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
- You need 1 of Chopped onion.
- Prepare 1 of Onion.
- Prepare 1 of tomato purée.
- Prepare 1-2 of Bay leaves.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Black pepper.
- You need 1 stick of Cinnamon stick.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Caraway seeds.
- It's 1-2 of Cloves.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need 1-2 of Red chillies.
- You need to taste of Red chilli powder.
- You need to taste of Haldi powder.
- It's to taste of Dhaniya powder.
- You need 1 cup of Maida.
- Prepare as needed of Curd.
- You need 1 pinch of Asfoetida.
- Prepare as needed of Coriander leaves.
Chole bhature step by step
- Soak chana for 5-6 hours.
- Boil it in pressure cooker add 1/4 tablespoon salt and haldi powder give 4 whistles.
- Make Garam masala powder (cumin seeds, cinnamon, caradamon, cloves, black pepper, caraway seeds) in mixer grinder.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker add oil.
- Add bay leaves, red chillies,asfoetida then add chopped onions as it turns golden brown add ginger garlic paste add onion tomato purée.
- Add Garam masala, haldi powder, red chilli powder and salt.
- Stir it till it leaves the oil now add boiled chana and water (water in which chana is boiled) can add more water if needed.
- Cover the lid give 3 whistles.
- Take maida add curd and salt and knead it with water make smooth dough leave it for 45 minutes.
- Make small balls flatten it with roller pin and deep fry it till golden brown.
- Serve chole bhature garnish it with coriander leaves and onions 😊.
