Ingredients of Chole bhature
- It's of Chole.
- Prepare 100 gm of chole boiled / chickpeas.
- Prepare 3 of Onion.
- It's 3 of Tomato.
- It's 2-3 of Green chillies.
- It's 1 inch of Ginger.
- You need 7-8 cloves of Garlic.
- It's 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric.
- You need 2 teaspoon of coriander powder.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of chole masala.
- You need 1 table spoon of tamarind chutney.
- You need of as per taste Salt.
- It's 2 tablespoon of Oil.
- You need of Bhature.
- Prepare 250 gm of Maida / all purpose flour.
- It's 1 table spoon of cornflour.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
- You need 2 teaspoon of curd.
- It's 1/4 teaspoon of kalaunji / nigella seeds.
- Prepare of as required Oil for frying.
Chole bhature step by step
- In a mixer jar make fine paste of onion, tomato, green chillies,ginger and garlic.
- For chole heat oil in a kadhai and add cumin and mustard seeds in it and allow them to crackel.
- Now add paste in it and cover it with lid and cook for 5 min on low to medium flame.
- Add all spices and fry them for 2 min.
- Now add tamarind chutney and mix it.
- Add boiled chole and 1 cup water in it.
- Cover it and allow them to cook for 10 min on low flame.
- Chole are ready to eat.
- For bhature take a bowl put maida, cornflour, salt, baking powder,curd and oil mix well..
- Add kalaunji and knead dough with help of water.
- Dough should not be much hard or not be so soft apply oil on surface of dough.
- Put the dough in a steel box and keep it under sunlight for about 3 hours..
- Take a pan put oil in it and heat oil for frying bhature.
- Take dough and make a small ball and flatten it with help of rolling pin. Do not apply flour for flatten apply oil if needed.
- Now put bhatura in kadhai and fry from both sides.
- Bhatura is ready to serve.
- Serve hot with chole.
