Ingredients of Vegetable Biryani

  1. Prepare 2 cups of Biryani Basmati Rice.
  2. It's 4-5 tsp of Ghee/oil.
  3. You need 2 of Chopped onions.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  5. You need 1 of Chopped tomato.
  6. Prepare 1 of Small chopped potato.
  7. It's 50 gm of Chopped Beans.
  8. Prepare 50 gm of Peas.
  9. Prepare 1 of Chopped capsicum.
  10. It's 1 of Chopped carrot.
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp of Curd/yoghurt.
  12. Prepare 2 tsp of chopped coriander leaves.
  13. It's 10 of Cashew nuts.
  14. It's 1 tsp of jeera/cumin seeds.
  15. It's 5-6 of Cloves.
  16. Prepare 2 inch of Cinnamon stick.
  17. Prepare 8-10 of Cardamom.
  18. It's 4 of Bay leaves.
  19. You need 1 of Blade mace(javitri).
  20. Prepare 1 of Star anise(phool chakri).

Vegetable Biryani instructions

  1. Take a bowl and soak the 2 cup basmati biryani rice..
  2. Take a cooker add 2 tblspoon ghee/oil, add 5-6 cloves, 4 green cardamom, 1 inch cinnamon leaves, 2 bay leaves, 1 blade mace javitri, 1 star anise(phool chakri) stir well. Now add the soaked rice and mixed them well. add 2½ cups of water. Cook the rice..
  3. Take a pan or kadhai, add 3 tblspoon oil,add 1 tspn jeera seeds, 4 cardamom,2 bay leaves,1 cinnamon stick.Add the 2 chopped onions and stir fry. Add 1 small chopped potato and stir fry till the potato becomes half cooked. Add ginger- garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Add all chopped vegetables and stir fry till it's half cooked..
  4. Add the peas and 8-10 cashew nuts and then cook for 1 minute. the 1 chopped tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes..
  5. Add the ¼ tspn turmeric powder, 2 tspn coriander powder,1tspn red chilli powder,1 tspn jeera powder, 2-3 tspn biryani masala and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes..
  6. Add 2-3 tblspoon curd/yoghurt. Mix them well and cook till all vegetables cooked(not too soft). Add the 1 tblspoon coriander leaves and mix them well..
  7. Now the vegetable is ready,take the cooked rice and mix them well and garnish with fried dry onions,coriander leaves and saffron milk(optional). Vegetable Biryani is ready to serve..
