Mango sajjige(suji ka halwa). It's origin is from Karnataka with name "Sajjige". In Maharashtra, it is called sheera and in North India it is called sooji (suji) halwa. It is also served in Europe and United States as semolina I am presenting here mango flavored suji halwa/sheera/pudding.

  1. Firstly,dry roast semolina..
  2. Then in kadai,add ghee,and roast cashews and keep it aside.Then add milk,water,sugar and bring it to boil..
  3. Now add,semolina slowly with continous stirring just to make sure,there are no lumps..
  4. Now add ghee and stir it.Then add mango puree and mix thoroughly until the mango puree has combined well with the halwa..
  5. Now garnish it with ghee fried cashews and raisins as topping and serve hot..
