- .Clean rice and millet and soak in water.Soak urad dal and methi seeds together.
- .First grind dal mix to a fine paste with some water.Transfer it to a big container..
- Then grind rice-millet mix finely.Transfer it to the same container..
- Add salt and mix the batter well.Leave it overnight for fermentation..
- Next morning mix the batter well, pour into idli plates and steam it..
- When done remove from plate and serve hot with your favourite chutney, sambar..
