Kodubale or kodbale recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This is a Mysore style kodubale recipe prepared using rice flour, fried gram, maida and coconut.

Ingredients of Kodubale
- It's 1 cup of rice flour.
- It's 1/4 cup of maida.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of fried gram or pottukadalai.
- It's 1/4 cup of grated dry coconut.
- You need 1/2 of red chilli powder.
- You need of Salt as per your taste.
- You need 1/4 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain).
- It's Pinch of hing.
- You need 2-3 tbsp of hot oil.
- Prepare of Oil to deep fry.

- Take rice flour and maida in a pan and slightly make it hot and switch off the flame. Transfer it to a big plate. Grind the fried gram to fine powder in a mixer. Add grated dry coconut, red chilli powder,hing, salt to same mixer jar and grind it..
- Add this grinded fried gram mixture to the plate containing rice flour and maida. Add carom seeds(ajwain)to it. Mix all the above ingredients. Add 3 tbsp hot oil to this,carefully mix it using spatula. We add hot oil to get crispy kodubale..
- Now rub this mixture with hand. Check the mixture forms shape when we hold it..
- Now add water little by little and prepare a soft but stiff dough. If dough becomes more soft kodubale will not be crispy. Take a small lemon sized dough on a rolling board and roll it. Next bring the edges together, seal it and make ring shape..
- Heat oil in a Kadai. Drop the kodubales in hot oil. After dropping kodubales reduce the flame and fry in low medium flame until it changes colour and turns nice crispy..
