- Wash dal and rice in water, soak it for min. 30 mins..
- Take a cooker, pour gingly oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry chilli, smashed garlic, curry leaves, chopped green chillies.... Make a fry it....
- Then add shallow onions in it, stir it well as onion colour changes..
- Then add tomato in it. Stir untill the tomatoes becomes soft..

- As the water boils, add the dal and rice. Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles..
- After 4 whistles, turn off the stove and release the pressure out. Then open the cooker lid and sprinkle some coriander leaves in itt..
