  1. It's 1 cup of palak puree.
  2. You need 2 cup of all-purpose flour.
  3. You need 4 tbsp of Semolina.
  4. Prepare 1 pinch of salt.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of milk.
  6. Prepare 4 tbsp of desi ghee.
  7. Prepare 1 cup of grated paneer.
  8. Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
  9. Prepare 1 of tomato chopped.
  10. Prepare as needed of water.

Palak Paneer Modak step by step

  1. Take a bowl,add palak puree,all purpose flour,semolina,salt,2 tbsp ghee & knead well with the help of milk till it becomes stiff dough..
  2. Keep it aside for 10 minutes & cover it with wet cloth..
  3. Take a pan,pour 2 tbsp of ghee in it with chopped onions,cook till they become light pink..
  4. Now add all the ingredients & saute for few seconds,Add chopped tomatoes & cook till they become a smooth paste..
  5. Add grated paneer in it & mix well,cook for 2 minutes.let it cool down..
  6. Now knead again the dough & make small round shape balls of it..
  7. Put one ball on the rolling board & give it a cornical shape with the help of rolling pin..
  8. Add some paneer stuffing in the centre & apply water on the edges..
  9. Put it on ur palm& start pinching the edges.Bring all the pleats together in the centre & seal them..
  10. Do this procedure with the rest of balls..
  11. Give them steam in a steamer for 5 minutes..
  12. Take them out & serve hot..
