- It's 100 grams of Colocasia roots.
- It's 1 of medium Onion (finely chopped).
- It's 2 of medium Tomatoes (chopped).
- It's 1 cup of Yogurt/curd.
- You need 2 tsp of Green chilli (chopped).
- Prepare 1 pinch of Asafetida.
- Prepare 3 tsp of Kasuri methi.
- You need 1 tsp of Coriander powder.

Steamed Colocasia Sabji step by step
- Wash arbi and pressure cook it in the required amount of water up to 2-3 whistles..
- When cool down, peel the arbi and cut into big cubes..
- Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute, now add chopped onion and cook until golden brown..
- Now, add all the spices except kasuri methi and cook for a minute..
- Add chopped tomatoes in it and cook. Now add curd/yogurt and cook for few minutes with continuous stirring..
- Add kasuri methi and arbi cubes and cook up to a desired consistency of gravy. Serve hot with chapatti or Indian flat bread..
