Dal kachauri Chaat step by step
- Combine flour, salt and 2 tablespoon of oil in a bowl mix it until it starts holding shape then prepare a semi hard dough of it using water and allow it rest for 15-20 minutes..
- Now heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a wok, add dry red chillies, 1 tablespoon dry fenugreek leaves, 1/2 teaspoon coriander and cumin seeds and 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida in it and allow it to splatter..
- Now add 1/2-1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder in it and mix it well..
- Then add tomatoes in it and cook it until it becomes soft and mushy..
- Then add potatoes in it cook it well, add water as per requirement and salt in it, cook well Then switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Your potato curry is ready..
- Now heat 3 tablespoon of oil in another pan add coriander seeds and cumin seeds in it and allow it to splatter then add besan in it and cook it until it starts leaving waking smell..
- Now add all rest spices in it and mix all very well..
- Then add ground moong dal in it and cook it until it's raw smell is completely gone then switch off the flame and allow it to cool down. Your moong dal stuffing is ready now..
