Ingredients of Ukadiche Modak
- Prepare 2 bowls of For covering Rice flour.
- Prepare 1 pinch of Salt.
- It's 1 TSp of Sugar.
- Prepare 1 TSP of Desi ghee.
- Prepare 2 bowl of For stuffing _Coconut finely grated.
- Prepare 1/2 bowl of Sugar.
- It's 1/2 bowl of Jaggery.
- Prepare 1 TSP of Cardamom powder.
- Prepare as needed of Dry fruits.
- It's 2 TSP of Desi ghee.
Ukadiche Modak instructions
- First add grated coconut in a pan heat it add sugar,jaggery,cardamom powder,1tsp ghee and saute it thickens.
- Add dryfruits and take it down to cool it. Stuffing is ready.
- Now take 2 bowls water in pan add 1 tsp sugar,1 pinch salt,1 tsp ghee. Let it boil..
- Add 2 bowls rice flour,mix well. Letafter 5 minutes take it down and let it cool for at least 15 minutes.
- Knead it well and take a small ball.
- Spread it with fingers and stuff the modakas.
- Boil water,put a sieve on a stand grease with ghee place the stuffed modakas for steaming.
- After 15 minutes ukdiche Modak are ready for nivedayam.
