- Prepare 600 ml of Milk.
- You need 1 cup & 1 tbsp of rice powder.
- You need 1 cup of flour.

- It's 1 tbsp of ghee.

- Add milk in a pan. Let it boil until reduce half. Take 1 cup hot milk and melt khoya in it. Add to the milk. Add 1 tbsp rice powder mixing with milk.
- Add 2 tbsp sugar. Mix well. Put off flame. Add1/2 cup of melted jaggery. Mix well. Again boil in low flame and let it thick. Keep aside the filling..
- Mix flour,rice powder,semolina,ghee,2 tbsp sugar,rest of jaggery. Add100 gram milk and required water to the mixture and make thin batter..
- Heat a pan. Apply little bit oil. Brush it and pour small amount of batter and spread. After 1 minute add spoonful of filling and roll the patisapta. Roast both side. Do rest of the patisapta in this way. Serve hot or put into refrigerator and serve cool..
In West Bengal, (a state of India) Sankranti, also known as Poush Sankranti , named after the Bengali month in which it falls (last date of the month). This time also my parents made puli pithe and patisapta at home. And I also got inspired to carry on the tradition. And maybe more than tradition, I guess I was just craving for all these sweet delicacies. Therefore, I decided to make Patisapta.
