Ingredients of Chole Poori
- You need 11/2 cup of chole.
- You need 2 of tomatoes.
- You need 1 of onion.
- It's 1 tsp of chole masala.
- It's 1 pinch of asafoetida.
- You need 1 pinch of cumin.
- It's as per taste of salt.
- You need 1 pinch of turmeric.
- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
- It's 6 tsp of oil.
Chole Poori instructions
- Soak the chole overnight. Strain the water. In a Pressure cooker add water, salt and turmeric. Pressure cook it to 3 whistles. And allow it to cool.
- Make a paste of onion and tomato. And Mix all the spices into it and mix it well..
- In a pan add oil. Heat it up. Add asafoetida, cumin and paste. Stir it well till oil left out from it. Now add chole to it and a bit of water. Mix it. Mash some of the chollas to make thick consistency. Allow it to cook for 4minutes. Garnish with coriander..
