  1. It's 250 gm of Parval.
  2. You need 100 gm of coconut powder.
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp of or to taste sugar.
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp of desi ghee.
  5. You need 2 tbsp of cashew & almond.
  6. It's 4 of chooti illiachi powder.
  7. You need 10 of saffron strings.
  8. Prepare of Water.

  1. Cut parval into two parts..
  2. Remove all seeds..
  3. Add 1/2 glass of water in cooker & boil upto two whistle..
  4. Take off the flame..
  5. Strain water and take boiled parval aside for cooling..
  6. Grind boiled parval in mixer & make smooth paste..
  7. Cut small pieces of dryfruits..
  8. Roast coconut powder in microwave for 30 seconds or one minute on low flame in wok..
  9. Heat ghee in wok..
  10. Add parval paste on medium flame..
  11. Stir continuously for 4-5 minutes..
  12. Add sugar on low flame, stir 1 minute & mix well..
  13. Add coconut powder illiachi powder, stir continuously for 1-2 minutes. Dough is ready for MODAK..
  14. Keep the dough aside for cooling..
  15. Divide the dough in eqal parts.Make a small ball from parval, coconut powder dough..
  16. Flatten each ball in palm and place some dryfruits stuffing in the centre, seal it properly..
  17. Fill in modak mould..
  18. Demould the MODAK in serving plate.
  19. Garnish with dry fruits & saffron..
  20. Healthy MODAKS are ready for LORD GANPTI.
